Seven men murdered in KZN


The bodies of seven men were found at a homestead in eMsahweni in KwaMakutha on Wednesday night.  All seven men suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head.  Neighbours and residents in the area heard gunshots around 18:00 and immediately called the police.  Brigadier Jay Naidoo, the KZN police spokesperson, confirmed the incident.  “When they investigated, [they] found the bodies of seven men, aged between 21 and 36, in one of the rooms of the homestead.  All seven men had sustained gunshot wound to the head.  Police were then called out and members of the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit attended to the scene.  The motive for the killing is still unknown.”
